Welcome to our October newsletter!

 Congratulations PAB!

PAB has recently celebrated 6 happy years in business, and we wanted to share our good fortune with our clients. We have come a long way from when we first opened our doors to the public in Boston, Lincolnshire. Since then PAB has become a company recognised nationwide and internationally as a trusted language service provider. That recognition stems from all the hard work and the many hours of dedication of a wonderful team and the leadership of Iwona Lebiedowicz, our managing director, who has been unstoppable at promoting PAB’s award winning services. But that is not all! The range of services we provide has increased over the last few years and we now offer translations in over 200 languages. In addition, PAB has area coordinators based in Poznan, a vibrant, friendly, and well located Polish city for those conducting business in that part of Europe.

We also cooperate with highly educated individuals based in several other cities across the world so that we can always find the best solution for your company.  As a result, we have now translated well over 10 million words. Well done PAB.

It’s all about networking!!!

Another reason to celebrate is that PAB has recently become an affiliate member of APSCo, an organization providing support to more than 600 recruitment companies in the UK, Europe and Asia. PAB will now be able to offer a range of high quality language services directly to other APSCo members and affiliates.

Showcase Market – Nottingham

On 20th August 2015 PAB exhibited at the above event in Nottingham, an exhibition which attracted many businesses across the East Midlands to showcase their products and services. The Showcase Market, organised by East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, was designed to maximise business opportunities for local companies.

International ATC Annual Summit

The Association of Translation Companies annual meeting took place on 23 – 24th September 2015 at Old Trafford, the iconic stadium of Manchester United Football Club.

This year PAB Translation Centre is joining the Association of Translation Companies and our Managing Director attended their two day summit to meet and network with other ATC members as well as to learn about the latest industry technologies and trends. The summit this year examined a wide range of topics covering some of the most critical issues affecting the operations of language service providers.

PAB Translation Centre at International Trade Expo – MITEC

On 13th October 2015 our Managing Director, Iwona Lebiedowicz and Communications and Marketing Director, Hylton Barnes attended the Midlands International Trade and Expo Conference – MITEC – which was organised by The East Midlands Chamber of Commerce at Pride Park in Derby.

MITEC is held annually and we exhibited this year to offer our support to UK exporters through our language translations, our FREE initiatives (translation cards or celebration cards) as well as our cultural awareness services. We hope our presence there will help to educate those who visited our stand how important it is to have an understanding of cultural differences and similarities in export markets.

The “Forum Rolnicze "Gazety Pomorskiej"

In addition, on October 2nd, Grzegorz Iwanczuk, our Poznań-based area coordinator, was one of several guests of the “Gazeta Pomorska” who once more organised the Forum Rolnicze "Gazety Pomorskiej", possibly one of the biggest events of its kind in Poland.

This year the event enjoyed the presence of the current Minister of Agriculture, Marek Sawicki, and also Roman Jagieliński, Gabriel Janowski, Wojciech Mojzesowicz and Jacek Janiszewski, all of them having formerly occupied the same chair.

Employee of the Quarter Award

We would like to congratulate Ruta Rubina on winning the PAB Employee of the Quarter Award for her commitment, strong work ethic and dedication to providing high quality service.

 Last but not least!

We are proud to announce the launch of a completely redesigned English version of our website. It is now more user-friendly and it has a more appealing look. The layout is simple yet sophisticated and it was carefully designed to allow users to more easily find all the information they may require.
